I had a dream last summer where I was back in Canada visiting my childhood best friend Kyle. He recently had a daughter, and in my dream we were at his house and he introduced me to her. I became overwhelmed with happiness, and love for him.
He then wanted to show me a song on the radio, I didn’t want to listen because I thought his music taste is usually pretty shit. But he forced me to listen. And the song that was playing was Sign Of Affection. I woke up realizing that it was an original song. So at 6 a.m. I grabbed my guitar and sang into my cell phone what I had heard. Later that day I met up with the band and everyone put their little flavours and sparkles in that took it to the next level. And the ‘Sign Of Affection’ was born.
